Pleasant rosé-style cider with color enhanced by purple carrots.

Nice strawberry flavor (I assume from being backsweetened with the red-fleshed apple juice) with a hint of floral. Easy to drink.

Okay, I have a bias for Woodchuck. For 25 years it was about the only cider you could find in the US. I enjoyed this one. It’s what the label says; bubbly and rosy. It’s base is probably dessert apples as I don’t get much body but given the acid, the back sweetening with red flesh apple juice is a nice balance. The bubbles give a nice mouth feel where it lacks tannins to impart this. Overall, I enjoyed it and found it refreshing but 802 is still my favorite Woodchuck.
