Doom And Bloom

Made with strawberries and rhubarb, it has a great initial nose and good flavor. It would be a great cider for a hot summer day in Arizona with its aromatics and easy drinking. However, I found it lacking as I ate more cheese and pizza. The body was weak and made me yearn for the All Made Equal glass I had sitting beside it. I wouldn’t turn it away but there were definitely better options on tap at Hawkes Cidery on Druid Street in London.

Clear pink colored pour. Heavy carbonation. Strong sugary and fruity aroma. Tart berry flavor along with some juicy apple. High acidity. Light bodied.

Rose coloured, mid range fizz but feels more and mid range cloudiness. Aroma of strawberries. Fresh fruity flavour with raspberries. Dry.

Pink colour, with a perfumed aroma, carrying tones of strawberry. Candy flavour, with faint tones of strawberry and rhubarb. Disappointing; neither one thing or another, though not undrinkable.
