Watermelon Mint

I am not a fan of the combination of watermelon and mint and this cider has both. Some of my friends loved this release from 1911. I will leave this for them.

Clear light gold colored pour. Moderate carbonation. Strong minty aroma. Nice sweet tart fruit flavor...tastes kind of like a watermelon jolly rancher with a refreshing hint of mint in the finish. Light bodied.

Pungent mint comes through much more than watermelon. While very summery and refreshing on a hot day, mint doesn't go well with many foods, so it was difficult to enjoy this cider with my lunch. It almost reminds me more of a mixed drink than a cider. I've tried all the 1911 flavors and this is my least favorite.

The watermelon was thin and watery. The carbonation takes away the flavor and leaves a mild mint and earthiness
