There is a medium fruit aroma to this cider. The first sip definitely lets you know there is a cherry-esque component to it, but it's really on subsequent sips that it comes through full force and gives you a distinct tartness and puckering mouthfeel from the tannins. That being said, it's definitely a pleasant sipper, this review should not be taken negatively at all. If I was settling in for say a nice summer salad, or a steak, and I wanted something with tannins and a "bite" that would complement my food, this would be an excellent choice!

A clear dark golden pour with strong carbonation and a nice apple aroma. It is a tart cider with a lingering bitter finish, similar to the flavor of some crab apples. The finish is not unpleasant but different compared with most ciders. It is made with a blend of Yarlington Mill, Kingston Black, and Wickson cider apples. If you are a beer drinker looking to try your first cider, this may be the one for you.
