Intensely flavorful, full-bodied cider made from pear (62%), apple (36%), and quince (2%), all of which come through on the palate. Deep golden color. Interesting as a change of pace.
Quite amazing to taste quince quite noticeably. Apple and pear evident too. Good acid, fresh testing, mild tannins, acetone evident in long finish. Yum.
I got a bottle of this from PCC market, as a 'pear,apple,quince' cider sounded darned interesting! It's got a scrumpy like flavor, but dry. A bit sour, but not tart. I can't say I can clearly taste pear and quince though.
