A sweet, slightly sparkling apple and elderflower cider with the initial aroma of more of a wine characteristic.
I was all optimistic with this as I'd rated their medium a 5 star but unfortunately for me this didn't quite meet the mark.
Please don't get me wrong, it's a nice well rounded cider but it's more of an elderflower drink rather than an apple cider.
The elderflower is over powering and is the dominant flavour which was too much for my liking.
I'm sure if this was toned down a touch this would be a very refreshing thirst quenching summer cider.
I'll stick to the medium from Haywoods cider as its absolutely on point.
