Apple Bandit Crisp Apple

This is the best cider I can consistently get in the Netherlands.

We were told that this is the Netherlands version of Orchard Thieves, and it certainly tastes like the cider I enjoyed in Dublin many times over the last couple of years. Strong apple taste, very sweet, crisp finish. Would drink again while in Amsterdam.

Yes, I know it’s made by Heineken and they use concentrate but should it matter? It was an enjoyable cider (plus it was the only cider option) and while similar to many other high volume commercial ciders, I liked the acid and body more than most. It had a nice clean nose of apple and finish. I’d drink it again but if you start giving me some other options, I suspect it would quickly fall down the list.
