Under the nose there’s a bit of farmyard funk and burnt honey. Light and faint but it got me sniffing.
This craft cider is 4.7%ABV and very drinkable. Really nice. It’s a pure apple taste with the vaguest hint of caramel.
It’s short on length, leave a great acidic aftertaste that doesn’t hit back and is incredibly refreshing. It’s drier than it is sweet and is light to medium bodied.
Nothing else to say other than it’s smoother than your average supermarket effort with a pleasant tartness but doesn’t knock anything out of your basket/trolley/self-service checkout.
3/5.
