Clear white wine colored pour. Moderate aroma of apples and wood. Strong taste that is tannic with a oaky apple flavor. Wine-like in flavor and body. Moderately tart. Very nice lingering flavor. Heavy carbonation. Medium to full bodied.

The pour is a slightly hazy (depending on how you pour) light yellow with low effervescence. I am surprised by the color as my Arkansas Black single variety is much more amber. The aroma is oaky and slightly sour with some apple. The taste is a dry slightly tart, bitter, and sour. The mouthfeel is light and thin. The finish is short and sour with a hint of astringency and end on the oak. I’m really surprised as I expected more astringency. It’s pretty good.
