Rich coppery red color with small bubbles around the edge. Slightly bitter but nicely offset by the slightly sweet taste. Doesn’t taste of blueberries. The apple taste comes out more if the cider is “chewed” like a wine. The flavor sits in the middle back of my tongue. A little funkiness comes at the tip of my tongue. If this weren’t here, it would be 5 stars for me.

I wrote the review above pre food. We ordered a blueberry, goat cheese, candied walnut salad, and this was awesome as a pairing with it. Also worked very well with an olive burger on pretzel bun.
