This has a heavy, earthy flavor that begins with a strong aroma (not pleasant to anyone in our tasting group) and carries on through tasting, given its long finish. Other French ciders we’ve tried have more of an apple-y, dessert-like taste. This is less refined and has a slightly bitter finish. Not one we will seek in the future.
