Made in the Pays d’Auge region of Normandy, France. This calvados is aged at least 6 years in oak. It has a nice apple aroma and flavor and is very smooth. I have some bourbon drinking friends and they quite enjoyed this as a night cap after one of my cider tasting parties. I also tried Lairds Applejack, the 100% apple version, and feel this one is smoother with more flavors. It also makes a great ice cream!
