Awesome French bittersweet Apple flavors with the wild fermentation notes. Lightly carbonated, nice body.

Yum! It was very yeasty however; it smelled a bit off/funky (but didn't taste like it), although that improved as it breathed. I didn't exactly find it all that complex. Sweet and frothy with lots of apple flavor. Some richness, caramel, and honey notes. 750ml bottle bought for $10.75.

French ciders are a bit complicated from a reviewers standpoint. It's hard to figure out what all those French words mean. I tried a cider from the same region when I was in France and was impressed by the complex flavors of the ciders I tried. This cider is very complex with strong fruit taste with semi sweet, yet bitter flavor. Although it is also very astringent, the strong fruit flavor makes this a nice and complex cider. This review took a lot of work so can I get more than 5 points? LOL
