2016; pours a crystal clear medium straw; on the nose clean with a fresh green fruit aromas - green apple, pear and green grapes, followed by cooked apple notes, hints of lemony acidity; on the palate dry with medium balanced yet zippy acidity, intense baked apple flavours are beautifully layered with a dry almost biscuity texture; light bodied, medium natrual carbonation, bubbles are soft a d plenty, short finish, lingering fresh apples and lemon zest aftertaste; overall a wonderfully crafted sparkling cider

Comes in a 750 ml champagne bottle. Golden colour, with an aroma of straw and meadow grasses. Sharp, slightly astringent, biscuity flavour, with a cooked apple aftertaste. Fine cider, made in the champagne method, giving a delicate, somewhat complex flavour, whilst retaining the apples fruitiness. Almost by definition, this is too gassy for my taste, but a good quality example of its type.
