Drier than I would have expected from the scent. The flavor was primarily apple pomace (skin) and yeast with hints of brown sugar and caramel. I think a bit more sweetness would have helped.
I love Frence ciders. The dry yet fruity so the dry is flavorful and complex. This cider has the funk I like which reminds me of the Earth it comes from.
