500ml bottle. Dark red colour, short-lived fizzy pink foam head and fruity blackcurrant aroma. Taste is sweet, blackcurrant, apple, tart, formic acid, citric, woody, drying. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tart finish. Nicely drinkable. Reviewed on 13 May 2018 3 likes

The label cites 82% apples, 12% black currants, 5% water and 1% cane sugar as the components of Cider Kir. We see, smell and taste all black currant: full body, tart, semi-sweet; it overwhelms the apple. Recommend this at the end of a meal, well chilled, and be ready for a jolt!
