My first French Cider! Found it at one of our local bottle shops. The nose reminds me of the farmhouse ciders I found in the West Country...phenolic and maybe some leather. The pour is hazy honey with quite a bit of effervescence. The taste is tart then sour with the bubbles filling your mouth. There is nice body and a hint of sweetness. The finish has astringency and some funk. The funk dissipates as I drank it and I enjoyed it more and more.

Slightly cloudy dark orange-gold pour. Heavy carbonation. Strong aroma of wood, apple and light funk. Light bodied and drinks easy. Moderate acidity. Taste has a moderate to strong apple flavor with good tannins. Can also taste earth, apple spices and a bit of caramel.
