Citrus Freak

My last new cider review for a bit. @gumptioncider Citrus Freak pours very light yellow, like a fine champagne. Like their regular Gumption, the effervescence is light. The fragrance reminds me of @angryorchard Elderflower, which is probably due to the use of Cascade hops. The taste is slightly hoppy, with the grapefruit definitely being featured alongside the hops. Listed as a semi dry, the perceived sweetness is deceived by the sugary mouthfeel you get at the end. That being said, a very pleasant cider with a unique flavor profile.

Not bad. Tastes drier than 15 grams sugar / 12oz. The flavor is milder than most Woodchuck varieties, primarily citrus (lemon, grapefruit, orange), with only a hint of hops. The citrus is slightly air freshener fake ish, otherwise I would have rated this much higher.
