Cloudy pale gold pour. Moderate carbonation. Moderate aroma of wild apple and orchard. Fairly complex taste that is funky with a big tart, sharp and crisp apple flavor. Also get a bit of orange flavor. Light tannins. Moderate acidity. Light to medium bodied.

This is a very cool “story” cider, made from many types of apples (32 according to the label) foraged in the Catskills and picked in abandoned orchards in several counties in NY State. We gleaned more aroma gradually as it warmed up. Taste-wise we found it slightly sharp, with modest fruit taste and very few bubbles.
