Rich, copper colour, with an evocative aroma of straw and oak.
Sharp, plummy fruit, becomes softly tannic, with a touch of wood in the aftettadte, before ripe plum reasserts itself in the lingering finish.
Very drinkable and sessionable, this is really well-balanced, a testament to the decades of experience of its makers, getting the best from their own fruit.
