As a cyser made by a meadery, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I enjoyed B. Nektar's Zombie Killer so I thought I would give another cyser a try. This was very refreshing with forward green apple and a lot of fizz. I could definitely see enjoying this outdoors as the weather warms up, either alone or with food. I could serve this to friends who like white wines.
The pour is a clear extremely pale greenish yellow with medium effervescence. The aroma is slightly sour. The taste dry tart with floral notes and honey. It’s reminiscent of Perrier. It’s neutral with slight mineral and floral elements. The mouthfeel is all about the carbonation. The finish is short and tart. It’s light and refreshing. It’s very drinkable.
