Comes in a 345 ml corked bottle. This is actually a "fire" cider, concentrated by gentle heating, rather that cryo-concentration, but the effect is quite similar.
Appears almost black in the glass, but actually a dark, reddish-brown, like strong, black coffee, with an aroma like a port wine or sherry, though with an apple skin edge.
Port-like initial flavour, with a little fruit in the aftertaste, but carrying strong chocolate and liquorice tones, and a tangy finish.
Strongly-flavoured digestif. Complex, with character and depth, this is one to be savoured, not rushed.
