Despite some complaints, we cut one of the wagons loose to gain speed. Given the loss of the guards, and with our Ranger alive but firmly out of commission, we also wanted to present a smaller target. We rode the horses hard, resting little, relying on Aria to keep them functional as we pushed them to exhaustion. This cider is a desperate but exhilarating push. It is the cold heat and focus of adrenaline.
