Matured 5 years in oak. The pour is a light gold. The aroma is apples and more apples. The taste is apples. It’s not as rich in color as some of the similarly aged Calvados that I’ve had but it has a warm place in my heart because I got to watch them make it and purchase it in the barn! Made from the vintage cider apples they grow on the farm If you can find the 5 or 10 year old, grab it.
