Gunpowder Guava

Moderately sour, very unfiltered cider. We didn’t really get the guava flavor. Ingredients list green tea, which we also couldn’t taste. Light straw color, lightly carbonated.

The pour is very cloudy lemonade color with a decent amount of carbonation. The aroma is very sour. The taste... did I already say sour? The finish is very sour and can have a strong vinegar bite at the end. This is what it’s supposed to be so I can’t knock it but it’s not my style. Closes Cider I know to this is Spanish Sidra. Not something I’m going to go seek. If you like kombucha, you probably will like this. I ferment most of my ciders dry and don’t use sulfites. I don’t have these sour notes but still have the active probiotics, especially if you bottle condition.
