Henry Hotspur’s Hard Pressed for Cider

The cider isn't that bad. It's a good basic cider as others have mentioned. But, It has an aftertaste that I can only describe as eating grass. It's not a green apple aftertaste but just grassy. The expiration date is 10 months away. If it wasn't for this taste, I would buy it again.

Decent, drinkable cider. Not a ton of character, but some nice bitterness comes through. On the dry side of semi-sweet. Seems to be a Trader Joe’s brand, where you can get it at a pretty reasonable price.

The pour is a clear pale yellow with hints of silver and light effervescence. The aroma is sweet apple. The taste is semi dry apple and tart. The finish medium to long acidic and astringent. The mouthfeel is nice with a decent amount of body. For a clean cider it is nice and it’s surprising based on the color that it seems to have some tannins.

Good basic cider - certainly a good value. A tiny amount of bitterness.

I would like but it’s not too sweet. It doesn’t have a strong of a taste as I would prefer. It’s a decent cider.

A nice, basic hard cider. Semi sweet but a bit astringent. No particular bells and whistles in the flavour department, but a good one to go with a meal. On its own, maybe not so much.
