Huckleberry

I was excited with the idea of a huckleberry but this was too sweet and bitter at the same time. I got a taster only thank god.

I'm not usually a big fan of funk, but paired with the sweet berry juice I actually enjoyed it. Nicely carbonated and complex.

Had this from a bottle I shared with friends. This is a rich semi sweet. A little tart with a definite blackberry kind of flavour. I don't actually know what huckleberries taste like, but if they say that's what it is, ok- I believe them.

Tried on Nitro tap at the Schilling Cider House. Deep deep berry hue. Excessive foam from the Nitro process and the scent I have come to associate with it. Very sweet. I found this to be just your standard juice-like berry cider. Medium bodied. There actually wasn’t any perceivable tartness, which was surprising, and would have been welcomed.
