Named for the Impens Farm where it is made, and the 8 heritage cider apple varieties from which it is produced. Golden colour, with an aroma of wood and straw. Bittersweet apple flavour, with soft tannins and some oak in the aftertaste, and with an apple skin finish. Beautifully-made and balanced cider. Very drinkable and enjoyable; ideal with strong cheese.

Got this from Scrattings based on the description and I am not disappointed. Offered it along with Perry’s Tremlett, Grey Heron, and Gun Dog from Ex-Press. I’m a big fan of Perry’s but I would put this one right up there. It is made from 8 Cider Apple varieties, hence the name. It appeared to have a little carbonation when poured. Nice body and astringency and generally dry but I think a little more sweet than the Perry’s Tremlett. I’d order it again and would probably rank it above the Grey Heron, which is sweeter.
