From Home Bargains, Worcester. 500ml bottle all with natural ingredients bar some added sugar (as per what I read on the label). 4.2%ABV. It’s ok, nothing special - was hoping it would be! The aroma is earthy with a hint of flint and grass. You can taste the earth and peat on the taste. It’s full of farmyard, that’s for sure. Light carbonation, amber colour and pleasant to look at just really lacks some complexity and depth and length. It’s medium bodied with heavy cider apple taste and is quite heavy on the palate but with mega-short length. It’s sharp with an initial dry kick and natural cider apple sweetness to follow which stays sharp and doesn’t fade or give in. Overall, because it’s from Glastonbury Tor, Somerset, my favourite cider region I’ve given it a 3/5 but I’ve had better, even down the road at Langport for example (Harry’s Cider). Wouldn’t buy it it again, but ok if you’re after a seasonable dry cider with a sweet back end. 3/5.
