It concerns me somewhat that we weren't further waylaid. If the orb was important enough to set an ambush, why quit after one failed attempt? Answer: A failed ambush puts the target on alert, and thus makes further attempts more difficult. A good ambush uses all available resources. It must succeed on the first attempt, or not at all. We saw no further interruption to our delivery, but by no means did I think that our mystery opponents had given up. A good hunter knows the value of patience.
