A light funky aroma awaits on first sniff. It’s a lighter funk/farm, but it is there.
As a modern craft cider that is on the drier side, it’s very nice. The colour is golden/bronze and it has light fizz and almost still.
It has an excellent length. The aftertaste is dry with plenty of fruity notes popping around. The flavour is very consistent from sip to swallow and is medium to full bodied.
The taste is complex enough to be interesting and I’d certainly recommend this code. At 5%ABV it is a cider you could drink in the pub, ping after pint without too much worry. Just get a cab home!
It’s a very good cider, but not outstanding so I’ll give it 4/5.
