Fighting a single enemy is dangerous, but can be simpler than fighting as a team. When assisting a companion it is incredibly important to understand both their capabilities and your role. Assisting Jaxon, my role was primarily defense. He's passable with a sword, but ferocious with a bow. As long as I could maintain the attention of the creatures, keeping their talons and mandibles at bay, I was buying Jaxon time to fire into the melee. Dangerous with some archers, as the risk of getting hit was very real, I had absolute confidence in our ranger. It was not misplaced, and the giant insects went down quickly. This cider is as confident and rich as blood.
