Perry

This perry is from a newish cidery in the small European country of Luxembourg. Amazing! Great sweetness level (semi-sweet to semi-dry), flavorful (canned pear + tropical fruit), and a tannic finish. I hope they get more widely distributed in the U.S. soon.

Light golden colour, clear with moderate to heavy fizz. Sweet pear aroma with a little caramel. Flavour of tinned tropical fruit.

Fizzy, tastes like a Perry you’d get in the supermarket. Not bad, flavoursome, quite sweet. Flavour sticks around in the aftertaste.

Pale golden in colour, with a sweetish, waxy aroma. Fruity flavour, with lychee, pineapple and apricot tones, leading to a light tannic dryness in the aftertaste. Pleasant flavour, but not my style of perry.
