Perryote

Winner for best new drink 2023, Devon food and drink awards. Perryote is ideal as an aperitif or to be enjoyed with food and friends! A unique still perry aged in tequila barrels with a distinctive tequila flavour. Astringent with the perry sweetness you'd expect. This will be enjoyed over the Christmas period relaxing with some quality nibbles!

Bronze colour, clear and still. Aged in a tequila barrel. Strong pear and barrel aroma. Rich pear flavour. Rich and smooth. Heading towards ice cider territory but not there. Not getting any tequila. Subsequently tried with ice as suggested on the bottle and this lightns it a bit but sure for the better.
