Premium Draft

Got this cider out in the Buffalo area as it's native to Western NY. I was very pleased with it. Semi-sweet and just the right amount of everything.

Light straw/pale gold colored pour with a decent amount of effervescent bubbles. Sweet apple aroma. Taste follows the nose with a strong and sweet apple flavor baked by a hint of tartness. Drinks very easy.

I really wanted to like this cider, since it bears the "Pride of New York" stamp (I've associated this with great, locally made products from smaller farms). Unfortunately, the great flavour and minimal carbonation is outweighed by the weird soapy/plastic aftertaste. Possibly a problem with the batch? If someone else tries this one, and has a better experience than I did, let me know.
