Okay, does this taste like candy and could I drink it like pop and not notice until I fell off my chair? Yes. But it says it’s pineapple AND prickly pear. Where the hell is the prickly pear? I’ve made several prickly pear ciders and while the neon color does dissipate, it still has a pink tinge. Also, you always get the tart and bitterness from the prickly pear in the finish. It has none of that. If they said a still, floral pineapple cider (Tropical Cider, Maybe?), I’d give it 3 stars but they didn’t. If you are looking for the prickly, don’t look here!

Light and crisp, great fruity flavors and easy to take down.

Overly sweet. Light tartness and acidity. Feels like more of a pineapple cocktail than a cider.

Very sweet, on the edge of cloying, but a solid tart acid hit at the end keeps it in check. More like pineapple juice than cider. An interesting beverage, would work well in a cocktail with some spiced rum perhaps.

Not bad. Nice and flavorful, but quite simple, only pineapple, green apple, and a little something else I assume is the prickly pear. Its just as sweet as all their other ciders though.
