The pour is a clear lightly carbonated pale gold. The aroma is dried apple and pepper. The taste is a sweet apple. The mouthfeel is medium to heavy. The finish is slightly astringent and acidic. It’s a nice still sweet cider. I prefer a little more dry and tart.

Maggie and I agree that this tastes like a rich non alcoholic sweet apple cider. It's just ok, not the cider kick that I'm used to. The website from Frankfurt says it's 3.5% alcohol. Based on flavour seems a more accurate assessment than 5% listed here.

Crisp/clean & smooth but overly appley apple juice type flavor. Sweet but not very sweet. Uses both sugar and apple juice concentrate as sweeteners. Not worth the ~$9 for four 11oz bottles. I'm surprised they actually import this stuff and assume real German cider is better. On the commercial cider side, I’d put it as better than Angry Orchard & Strongbow but not as good as Woodchuck. Tried at a tasting at World Market but also seen it at Total Wine.
