Norcotts cider is an independent cider maker from Devon. Their ethos is locally sourced fruit, Southwest apples only, and no artificial colours, flavours or additives and I can certainly taste the difference. Beautifully strong rhubarb aroma that's quite reminiscent of old style rhubarb crumble and a wonderful crisp clean taste which is thankfully not too sweet like some mass produced fruit ciders.
One can only applaud these small local cider makers who have taken the plunge in an attempt to maintain traditional ciders with a modern taste.
