Light gold colour, clear and still. Fresh but light apple aroma. Clean and crisp but apples flavour is limited. A little wood maybe. Drinkable and inoffensive but not much going on.

Under the nose there isn’t much, perhaps a hint of vanilla and brown sugar. It’s dry, and I love that - and tart, with a short to medium length. It’s quite zesty with light fizz. It would get 5/5 but it lacks flavour, I have to agree with BushWalker’s review. I’d buy this again, but so wanted it to blow me away and it didn’t - a great cider, lovely light golden/brown colour but it fell at the last - taste. 6%ABV. 4/5.

Out of hundred of cider ticks over decades, impossible to name a favourite, but Sams dry is the one I've most enjoyed every year since the late 1990's. Possibly enhanced by usually being imbibed on draught in my most beloved watering hole: Ye Olde Cider Bar, Newton Abbot.

Light golden, with a woody, fruit aroma. Dry, crisp fruit flavour. Drinkable, but totally unremarkable, with no flavour development.
