Not one of my favourites. I quite enjoy a scrumpy version of cider and expect it to be a fuller bodied, cloudy experience. Coming from BC’s oldest cidery, I would have expected more, but sadly, I had to dilute this about 1:1 with Canada Dry Ginger to make it palatable

Inviting aroma of cider fruit with a light acetic note. Powerful tannins from the cider apples balance the massive alcohol and crabapple twang. definitely a New World take on scrumpy but a good one.

I picked up a bottle in Victoria BC Canada (not sold in the U.S.) for under $10 CAN so well under $10 USD. An in your face English-style cider with an extra kick in ABV (11%) and flavor from the use of crab apples. The flavor is a bit harsh, but I enjoyed the richness and tannins. Notes of pomace, caramel, honey, and oak.
