This is a great Westcountry cider - really worth trying for the lovely unadulterated cider taste.

Golden, clear with a touch too much fizz. Ripe apple aroma. It’s fresh but apparently matured in oak vats which does not come through in the taste.

From a London-based company, but it's unclear whether they make cider themselves, or bottle other cideries output, which they have commissioned. Oak-aged, but this is not immediately apparent, with just a hint in the aftertaste. Nice amber colour, with moderate carbonation. It reminds me of a good quality West Country cider, but it lacks the complexity I was expecting from the aroma and the initial taste. However, this is an enjoyable drink, and I certainly wouldn't turn it down if the opportunity arose.

500ml bottle from Hole in the Wall, Darlington, UK. Yellowy golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and nose of fruity apple, oak, barnyard. Taste is mellow apple, fruity, bittersweet, with woody oak, leathery, barnyard funk, and some light tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry oaky finish. Nicely drinkable.
