Comes in a 750 ml screw-top bottle.
Bronze in colour, with an aroma of overripe pears, and a spirit edge.
Overripe, fermenting pear flavour and plum tones, with a sherry-like mouthfeel, and thick body. Fortified wine quality to the aftertaste and finish.
A little cloying after a while, but pleasant in a small amount. This could be a match for the rich fruit flavours of mince pies, or Xmas pudding.
