Strawberry Cider

Having visited Sainte Genevieve, MO last summer, we were excited to find this cider from Crown Valley Brewing, which seems to be best known for beer. This “strawberry-infused” cider has a strong aroma of strawberry and is quite sweet. If just given a glass to try, I would think it was some type of strawberry soda. Could be interesting in a mixed drink, but on its own best for those who love sweet drinks.

Clear pour that is copper colored with some strawberry red highlights. Lots of carbonation. Very nice sweet aroma of strawberry and light cherry. Taste is very sweet with a soda like mouthfeel. Lots of strawberry flavors backed by a slight apple tartness.
