My first time with French cider. Apparently the freshly pressed apple juice is keeved on its own yeasts for a slow fermentation throughout the winter months, This results in a very pleasant semi dry cider which at 7% packs quite a punch and should be approached with caution, as the taste is very deceptive

The CAMRA programme described it as "Extra Dry Cider. Unpasterised and unfiltered, French import". So I approached it with some trepidation, fearing Tutts Clump Special Reserve dryness combined with Gwatkinesque turbidity. But no, it was clear, dry but pleasantly floral and fruity, excellent. Had at Wolverhampton Summer Festival of Beer and Cider.
