First of all, apple cider purists will despise this cider. The aroma is overwhelmingly one of strawberry. The taste follows suit. There is a very slight citrus freshness from the lemon, but not the tartness or sourness you would expect accompanying it. Any apple flavor is hidden and dominated by the strawberry flavouring.
That being said, it is very refreshing and without bitterness, sourness or tartness it drinks exceptionally well. The carbonation is very well balanced. I would not drink a pint of Tempt 9, but as their serving size is quite small they've already got that covered.
Overall a good drink, but I expect it would be a polarizing one that would not be in the highlights of anyone who values the apple in apple ciders.
