Hardly anything in the aroma apart from a slightly zesty, clean green apple whiff.
The taste - its clean, crisp and pretty punchy and very easy drinking. If you like Aspall draught, you’ll like this as they’re very similar. The cider is halfway between Aspall’s draught and Sxollie’s Granny Smith.
The length is pretty short but it does satisfy and has a sharp roundness with a medium to full body.
It’s fairly acidic and exactly what it says on the can - medium dry (but on the drier side). It tastes like a Granny Smith and is very pleasant. The ‘summertime’ irregular cider drinkers would love this and the hardcore cider drinkers would also like it too.
The colour is golden yellow and the fizz is there presenting a very balanced cider - it just lacks a bit of complexity and vigour.
It’s very easy drinking and the dry nature of this cider keeps you sipping and at 4.5%ABV you could, and can, easily keep going!
I had to pay £2.89 for this 440ml can which is a lot but I was so keen to try it.
Two Farmers are more famous for their lovely crisps - the can even suggests you enjoy their cider alongside their crisps. I didn’t on the occasion but their crisps come highly recommended. Do have a look at their website for their crisps - as for their ciders. I’m yet to discover if there are more offerings in their range as I’d be keen to try those ass well.
4/5.
