This is an OK drink, I wouldn't not have it chilled again, warm might bring out the flavour a little. It doesn't really have any character, body or... Apple taste. I found it quite non descript...bland even. It won't be a first choice but would do if nothing else available.

It is what it is. Under the nose it smells of apples, sure, but apple concentrate - you can just smell the fake aroma. It’s extremely lightly carbonated so it’s not gassy and is pleasant enough, just completely unremarkable. It’s had some malic acid pumped into it and I think that’s because it’s quite watery and they’re trying to bump the acidity a bit - which sort of works. The taste? Like most mass-produced ciders of this ilk, bang average with a hint a dryness after a punchy, artificial sweet beginning on the palate. The length is short to medium and just oozes with concentrate syrup on the back end with the bubble fading to nothing giving that dryness and slight kick, well more of a drunken punt really. The colour is fairly standard and down the middle - it could be anything in the glass, Strongbow. Stowford Press, anything. This cider leaves a slight fuzzy and furry taste on the middle and tip of the tongue but this is mainly due to its fabricated creation. It’s not great, but it’s not that bad either. It’s fairly light in body and pretty thin down the middle of the palate. I can’t remember the cost, around £1.75 a bottle, I think, but I can’t bash it too hard as it’s a UK ‘corner shop/convenience shop’ shelved cider (think 7eleven in the USA). 2/5. If does the job, just but there’s not much in it (except for a load of chemicals; essentially).
