To set the record straight this has been made for many years and with many types of whiskey barrels and a variety of apples. Bottles are always bone dry but we do release a medium on draft occasionally. It is a cider not a perry and we have not used foraged apples from Vashon in any of the releases.

I'm not liking this much. Kinda bitter and tasteless for my sensibilities.

This has been growing on me. Quite dry, and I am picking up some nice caramel notes and the barrel aging.

$7 for 200ml. Made from heirloom and bittersweet apples foraged from Vashon Island WA, then bourbon barrel aged. Notes of sharp crabapples, lemon, grapefruit, peach, mineral, and a hint of honey. No overt barrel or spirit influence/flavor; in fact, I tasted this cider blind and wouldn’t have guessed it was bourbon barrel aged. This is a wine-lover’s subtle food-friendly cider. Well made, but not my favorite style.
