I liked the funk, and that it was drier but still flavorful, but wasn't a fan of the sourness. It was a surprise, as I didn't pick up any in their Organic Cidre or Poire, and typically Brittany cidres are fairly clean (in contrast to most Normandy cidres).

The pour is a clear deep golden hue with might effervescence. The aroma is phenolic apple. The taste is a dry tart and bitter apple. It hits all the notes. The mouthfeel is heavy and the carbonation adds depth. The finish is long with nice astringency. This is my kind of cider: dry, apple, bitter acidic, and astringent with nice carbonation. I really enjoy it.

Nice flavor that is a little more complex than most American ciders but a little too sweet for my liking.

Nice and fruity, not a dry hoppy like some of the other hopped ciders I’ve had out of Austin

Comes in a 375 ml champagne bottle. Pale copper in colour, with an aroma of ripe fruit and leather. Cooked apple flavour, with soft tannins and a touch of wood. There is slight funk in the aftertaste, but light in comparison to other Breton ciders. Very drinkable, and more accessible to mainstream drinkers than similar Breton ciders.
