Reading the earlier reviews and comparing them, and also comparing to my own tasting, there seems to be great variation between the different vintages. That might well be a property of the cultivar of apples used by this maker - I'm not deep enough into research that I can truly comment on this beyond a bit of speculation. I did find that it has that caramel aroma which has been reported by others, but very light tannin, and definitely not overwhelmed by sweetness, as timforeman reports before me. I will agree with Hillary that is incredibly drinkable. It's more moderately sparkling than lightly sparking (compare BushWalker's review), and I feel the nose is indeed yeasty but not to the point that it drowns out any fruit aroma, although the fruitiness is not very pronounced - especially not on the palate. It does lack depth though, that we can agree on. For the price point (70 DKK ~8 GBP or ~10 USD, currently) it's fair, not any great value but I also don't feel ripped off. I think I will stick to more expensive ciders for the foreseeable future.
